Biggest Loser Winner Season 8 is Danny Cahill

Danny Cahill lost 239 pounds to win the title of Biggest Loser Season 8 tonight on NBC. It was a close final weigh in between Danny and runner-up Rudy Pauls. The two hour show started at 8pm EST and ended with Danny Cahill taking home the Biggest Loser prize of $250,000.
The Biggest Loser Season 8 started in September with some of the biggest contestants the show has ever cast, including the largest contestant ever, weighing in at 476 pounds. Bob and Jillian were relentless as usual with their motivation techniques and it was another emotional season on The Biggest Loser.
Danny Cahill, winner of the Biggest Loser season 8, is a 39 year old land surveyor from Oklahoma. Married with two children, 8 and 10, Danny’s starting weight was 430 pounds. He lost a total of 239 pounds to win the title of The Biggest Loser.
The Biggest Loser is also currently casting for season 9, in which it will go back to the family format. The ninth season will premiere early next year and will feature varying family relationships.
