Kristen Schaal Xperia PLAY commercials video

Sony Ericsson recruited an unlikely spokeswoman to promote its upcoming Xperia Play gaming smartphone: Kristen Schaal, who you might remember from her unforgettably creepy role as Mel from Flight of the Conchords (or more recently, the voice of Trixie in Toy Story 3 and Louise in Bob’s Burgers).
Schaal stresses the Android 2.3-powered device’s hybrid nature — smartphone features combined with PlayStation Suite support — in this series of commercials, transforming from a business-focused professional to a crossbow-wielding dwarf, trash-talking gamer, enthusiastic FPS player, and some kind of demonic creature.
Though Schaal seems like a questionable choice for the campaign, she manages to turn these potentially terrible commercials into pretty amusing spots. Watch them all below!:
