Many Business Will Be Closed on Columbus Day
October 12th, 2009 | by |Monday is Columbus Day, and that means many offices will be closed.
Federal and state offices are closed, but city offices are open. There is no regular mail delivery because the Post Office is closed.
Most banks are closed, but Wall Street will be open.
If you live in Lawrence, there is no trash pick-up, it is delayed until Tuesday.
